Our Impact

The college has been offering a 3 year full time diploma program in Kenya registered nursing.

student life

The Karen Hospital environment provides a serene learning environment and access to highly specialized level five hospital for our nursing students.

It also collaborates with The Karen Hospital for training and community service through medical camps and other social responsibility activities to include co-curricular activities.

LEARNING

Our students are privileged to be trained on components of cardiac nursing as an additional unit to the comprehensive Kenyan Registered Nursing curriculum. This enables them to efficiently and effectively work in cardiac set ups after their graduation.

Students are exposed to OSCEs (Objective Structured Clinical Exams) before they are exposed to clinical placement for hands on care.

FUTURE PROSPECTS

The college utilizes internal and external health care institutions that have collaborated with the training school and approved by the NCK.

The college in collaboration with the hospital also offers post basic trainings to include:

  • Advance cardiac life support(ACLS)

  • Advanced Paedriatric life support(APLS)

  • Basic life support(BLS)
